Artwork by KAR Robison

KAR Robison, artist, activist, and beloved member of the Poetic Justice community passed away in late December, 2020. This page celebrates their work of creating a world of love and solidarity.

With their kind spirit and gentle words, KAR forged a community of mutual trust, respect, and genuine love. An artistic guide, KAR engaged in our community exercise of poetry with enthusiasm and positivity, finding a comforting and thoughtful word for those who sought their guidance.

KAR believed in building a better world by fruitfully addressing and healing historic traumas and contemporary social inequities. We actively remember the incredible impact they have left in our community and their legacy continues to inspire our work.

In remembrance, gratitude, and love, thank you KAR.

Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you.
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I.
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.

Christina Rossetti, "Who Has Seen the Wind?"
